"It takes a village to raise a child"
Inspired by this timeless proverb, The Village House was created as a welcoming space for individuals, couples and families in and around Aix-en-Provence, including expat and international families.
We offer thoughtful, personalized support to people navigating emotional difficulties, relationship challenges, parenting concerns and important life transitions.
Drawing on our professional backgrounds in psychology and education in Brazil, as well as our own personal and family experiences, we understand how individual histories, relationships, family dynamics and cultural contexts are deeply interconnected.
Life transitions can reshape a person’s sense of identity and belonging, affect relationships and family roles, challenge parents in unexpected ways and influence how children and adolescents understand themselves and their place in the world. For those living between countries or cultures, these experiences may bring additional questions and complexities.
Our aim is to provide a warm and supportive space where each person can feel heard, better understand what they are experiencing and find new ways forward.
